Seed Library Launch Free Workshop Series

Spring Fest

An event to showcase North Perth Community Garden and launch our new Free Community Seed Library. Come and celebrate Spring and the Noongar season of Djilba with us and see what we do at the garden.

A series of 3x 15 minute repeating workshops will run throughout the day on:

1.      Seed Saving

2.      Soil Enhancement

3.      Propagating

There will be a break in the workshops around 11am for the formal launch of the seed library and a talk by Dr Fatemeh Kazemi BSc, MSc, and PhD Lecturer School of Science at ECU on Water saving and sustainable gardening practices.

Workshop participants will be given free pots, soil, & seeds to use in the workshop. (No ticket required if you are not doing the workshops, just rock up and enjoy the day).

Come and celebrate Djilba with North Perth Community Garden and see what we do in our garden. There will be stalls from other similar themed groups and a small selection of plants will also be for sale.
