Breathe Balance is pleased to introduce our next event: Harmonic Breathing, Yoga Asanas, and Nature Walk! Dive into the science and art of harmonic-rhythmic breathing, which combines breath with movement to elevate energy, focus, and resilience.

Whether you’re new to breathwork or a seasoned practitioner, this workshop offers tools to refine your practice and integrate rhythm into daily life.

New to breathing and yoga practices? This workshop is a perfect introduction. Seasoned practitioner? Discover new perspectives and practices to enhance your existing routine.

Location: Meet outside North Sydney Station - Blues St, Stand E (near Views Hoel) at 8:25 AM for a 15-minute walk to our practice spot near Sawmiller's reserve.

What to Expect:

  • Discover the transformative power of harmonic breathing in this hands-on session.
  • After a brief intro, we’ll explore different Harmonic breathing patterns (like Box Breathing and 4-7-8) for 30 minutes. Next, flow through a 40-45 minute dynamic yoga sequence synchronised with breath cycles to build strength and mindfulness.
  • We’ll close with a 3-4 km nature walk around Blues Point and North Sydney, practising rhythmic breathing techniques in motion (e.g., matching steps to breath counts).
  • Optional social brunch follows at a highly-rated Kirribilli cafe (MeetU)!

What to Bring: Yoga mat or thick towel/rug for practice which you can carry during the walk, water bottle (refills available), sun protection, and optional snacks. Wear comfortable layers for movement and walking in the outdoors. Please check our FAQs for more tips: https://breathebalance.org/faqs

Workshop Etiquette:

  • Silence is Golden: Please silence or switch off your phone upon arrival.
  • Barefoot Practice: We'll be practising barefoot on our mats. Please remove your shoes and socks before entering the practice area, and keep your belongings neatly beside your mat.
  • Arrive on Time: Please arrive on time for our walk to the practice location. Late arrivals can disrupt the session.
  • Listen to Your Body: Modify or skip any poses that don't feel right for you.
  • Open Communication: Please let Manish know if you have any specific needs, injuries, or if you experience any discomfort during the practice.
  • RSVP Responsibly: Your RSVP is a commitment to attend and please update it at least 12-24 hours in advance if your plans change.
