Thai Foot Massage
This is a nourishing, rejuvenating, oily foot and lower leg massage that is both soothing and revitalising.Â
Thai foot reflexology is said to be a marriage between reflexology, Chinese Tuina, Japanese Shiatsu, and Indian Ayurvedic yoga. It works on the feet, lower leg, and knees, freeing up blocked energy in the body’s Thai-based meridians to create a feeling of deep relaxation, balance, and well-being.
In a typical session, the lower legs and feet are stretched and massaged to open Sen (energy) lines. Then specific pressure points, which stem from 10 major energy lines that run throughout the body, are stimulated. These pressure points provide a map of the entire body and organs. Through skilful manipulation of the soles of the feet, Thai foot massage helps the body restore its own natural healthy balance.
You will be guided, step by step, through a flowing sequence. There will be opportunity to both give and receive a foot massage. Â
