FREE THE FRIDAY #3

Join us for our next Free The Friday (FTF) on October 25th, where we’re excited to feature Melbourne’s Afro Hip Hop veterans, Cool Out Sun.

This FTF will celebrate the vinyl release of their album *Lion Is A Lion*, and promises an unforgettable live show spearheaded by the dynamic duo N'fa Jones and Sensible J, alongside special guests yet to be announced.

N'fa Jones is an Australian/Sierra-Leonean artist who has played a pivotal role in shaping the Hip Hop landscape in Australia. As a member of the ARIA award-winning band 1200 Techniques, he burst onto the scene in 2000. The band emerged from Melbourne’s vibrant underground music scene before achieving mainstream success, making history as the first urban group to win an ARIA award. Since then, N'fa has continued to evolve as an artist while actively engaging with youth and community groups through music education.

Sensible J complements this powerhouse lineup as an Australian/South African drummer and producer who has been a prominent figure in the local music scene since the early 2000s. He gained recognition when his crew Run For Your Life won the Hilltop Hoods Initiative Grant. Sensible J is best known for his collaborations with artists like REMI—producing three acclaimed albums that earned him an Australian Music Prize—and Sampa The Great, for whom he co-produced and mixed the award-winning album *Birds And The Bee9*.

Don’t miss this chance to experience a night filled with exceptional music & culture at Free The Friday!
