Event description

A look into the physiological benefits of immersing in nature, what’s impacting New Zealand’s natural environment, and what this has to do with the food you put on your plate. Plus, some insight into the performance gains of being plant-powered.

Join us for an engaging presentation on the lifestyle changes and kaitiakitanga (environmental stewardship) we can undertake to care for our health and the planet.

Your presenter, Ben Eitelberg, is the co-founder of The Lentil Intervention, a not-for-profit Australasian educational and advocacy platform. As a New Zealand registered charitable trust, it aims to inspire the adoption of lifestyle changes toward climate-friendly and healthy lifestyle practices and foster resilient communities through community outreach, campaigns, provision of resources and a podcast.

Ben is an environmentalist, an accredited endurance sports coach and an ultra-endurance athlete.

The Lentil Intervention is a New Zealand registered charity which means that those of you in New Zealand, can claim tax credits for donations of $5 or more. Please request a receipt should you require one.
