FREEDANCE MANIFESTO:
FREEDANCE is an embodied exploration of expression, emotion and energy.

FREEDANCE is an opportunity to practice freedom through dance; to experience freedom in movement, stillness, breathing, feeling and being. 

FREEDANCE is driven by a diverse range of music, to inspire a diverse range of movement.

FREEDANCE 013: Healing Humanity

In our next FREEDANCE practice we will be exploring the theme of Healing Humanity through our dance.

Schedule:

6-6:15 Doors Open and Acknowledgment of Country

6:15-6:30 Drop-In and Warm-up (no late entry)

6:30-7:45 FREEDANCE

7:45-8 Closing and Sharing Circle (optional)

Come prepared to move, wear comfortable clothing, bring a water bottle and sweat towel (if you need one). Mats, cushions, bolsters, foam rollers and other movement props are provided. Complimentary coffee & tea.

Prepaid ticket sales, cash and bank transfer also welcome. No refunds. Doors close at 6:15pm, no late entry to ensure the safety and integrity of the container.

FREEDANCE is now running on the second and last Saturday of every month for 2025 at Jungle City, 6-8pm.

Jungle City is 50m from Preston Station and is easily accessible by bike, public transport, motorcycle and car. There is parking at Preston Station and Preston Market, please be aware of ticket/time restrictions. 

Access is through the door at the rear of 350 Murray Road,  enter through the door and go up the stairs. Shoes and phones off please. 

FREEDANCE is held on the sacred country of the Wurundjeri-Woi Wurrung of the Kulin Nation, the traditional custodians of this land who have never ceded their sovereignty. We acknowledge their ancestors, past, present and future. Always was always will be.
