Description

The throat chakra is the centre of truth, expression, and vibration. The Sufi poet Hafiz once wrote, “The words you speak become the house you live in.” Our words carry energy, and when we become aware of this, we begin to notice how much energy can be lost through gossip, complaining, or negative speech. Words have the power to wound, but they also have the power to heal.

The Sanskrit name for the throat chakra, Vishuddha, means purification. This chakra teaches us that communication can be clear, conscious, and healing. Truthful expression is not about speaking harshly or without care — it is about communicating with kindness, integrity, and right intention. When the throat chakra is balanced, we become mindful of what we say, why we are saying it, and the impact our words have on ourselves and others.

As we heal and open the throat chakra, we begin to express ourselves more authentically. We become more connected to our inner truth and more willing to honour the truths of others. Our communication becomes more harmonious, allowing us to create deeper connection, understanding, and alignment in our lives.

Sound itself is a powerful healing force. Through mantra, chanting, movement, and dance, we can use vibration to awaken and balance the throat chakra. In this workshop, we will explore the healing power of sound and movement to clear energetic blockages and support authentic self-expression. When the throat chakra is in balance, we are able to share the voice of our soul with confidence, creativity, and truth.

You may also feel called to explore other chakra-focused sessions that resonate with where you are on your journey right now. Discover them HERE.

In Chakradance, we dance barefoot and with eyes gently covered using darkness or eye masks, allowing you to turn inward and connect more deeply with your inner world and the wisdom of your body.

Each session includes:

✨ Eye masks to support your inner journey

✨ Paper and soft pastels for the mandala art process

Our gatherings will be held in Conny's Sacred Space — a nurturing and sacred space to move, release, reflect, and reconnect.
