Freedom to Read Family Festival
Event description
Gather with authors, educators, advocates, and our community to defend books from censorship.
Join us as we gather with authors, educators, advocates, and our community to defend books from censorship. We believe that everyone should have the freedom to access and explore diverse ideas and perspectives through literature, and see themselves reflected in the literature they read.
Check out the full lineup of authors here!
Through thought-provoking discussions, engaging workshops, storytelling, and presentations, we aim to promote the importance of intellectual freedom and the power of literature in shaping our society. Don't miss this opportunity to be part of a movement that champions the right to read!
- Kew & Willow Books will have a pop up bookstore selling titles including those from our visiting authors.
- Please note that parking is limited so try to take public transportation or carpool.
- There will be a concession stand with snacks and refreshments for sale.
