The Channel - A Freestyle Rap Experience

CALLING CURIOUS CREATIVE SOULS!!!!!!

Tender Core has launched; and has been supporting babes to connect deeper with their personal intimacy as a radical experience of pleasure activism. To be more liberated in ourselves ripples into many aspects of self and other. To live from pleasure isn't just about sexuality, its a way of life that enables us to exist doing the things we love. Self-expression and Creativity are just as potent when It comes to unraveling more of our sense of self. These parts of the human experience can hold just as many blockages as our sex center, in fact they can be dimmed by the same societal expectations and repressed conditioning!

'The Channel' is the antidote to this, a workshop targeted toward finding more freedom in expression. Together we will gather and create a container to hold our nerves, our old stories and give ourselves the permission we have always desired! Through the lens of play, courage and imperfection we will journey together over 4 hours and break through into a next level of self-expression.

Do you dream of being able to be seen on a deeper level? To push through limiting beliefs and live from pleasure instead of fear? When we move out of our own way, its possible to plug into an infinite pool of inspiration and creative life force. Do you dream to be able to share your inner musings? Who is for?

All Genders and Sexualities (Queer feme and thems will be priorotised if numbers fill up fast), those who struggle to be seen in singing, poetry or spoken word. Those who are specifically curious about freetsyle rap, vocal expression or desire to bring music, rapping, singing into their life for fun, in a playful and low expectations space. Bridge the gap between your journal and non-judgemental, heart centered babes! Bring your open minded self and get ready to surrender to the mystery of LIVE free-flow work. Its the medicine you didn't even know you needed!

What modalities will we be using?

Improv theatre, Play, Freetyle Rap and Live Unfiltered Spoken Word. As well as this we will be playing with Tarot and other Oracle decks so bonus points if you are into that!

Why do you want to do this?

Raw Self Expression is free from rigid expectations and social conditioning, Its to ability to share uninhibitedly just because it feels good. Our creativity has often been minimized due to it not 'being a money maker' or 'be able to get us a job' but that story no longer gets to live rent free in our minds. The time is now!! Have you ever dreamed of being a part of a jam session? a cyper? to live life in a muso or creatives shoes? Honestly, Its my belief that folks who have music and vocal expression in their lives have a whole dimension of regulation and endless creative potential. It's not too late and doesn't have to be far away either!
