Event description

Our highly anticipated brunch is back, complete with sweet treats, mimosas and cheeky chats. Join other young people navigating endometriosis in a safe-space to explore the realities of living with this disease.

The morning will kick off with our 'Lets Talk' session, where you'll have the chance to share your stories and connect with others who just get what it's like living with endometriosis. Here, you can chat candidly about how endometriosis impacts you, laugh about the ridiculous things you have been told (pregnancy as a cure, anyone?) and share tips and tricks on what helps you manage your symptoms.

The second half of our event will feature a panel of specialists and patients who will chat about endometriosis and fertility preservation. While fertility might not be something you are thinking about, we completely understand the underlying anxiety that comes from knowing endo is associated with an increased risk of infertility, especially when you are young. This panel will allow you to feel empowered, informed and in control - regardless of where you are in your endometriosis/fertility journey.

And because we love a little extra, each attendee will go home with a special goodie bag filled with over $100 worth of goodies. It's our way of saying thank you for joining the conversation and being part of the Endo Articles community.

Hurry, this event will sell out!

FAQs

Q. I won't know anyone! Will there be a chance for me to be introduced to others?

A. Yes absolutely - the majority of people come to our Member only events alone. We will also have ambassadors walking around, introducing people to one another, and making sure no one is left by themselves!

Q. My mum/aunt/friend has endometriosis. Can they come along?

A. This event is for Endo Articles Members only. Membership is open to people aged between 18-35 living with suspected or diagnosed endometriosis. You can register as a Member here. We run numerous events throughout the year open to all people - keep an eye out on our website!

Q. I'm not freezing my eggs or thinking about fertility. Can I still come?

A. Absolutely! As long as you are an Endo Articles Member, we would love to have you there. The primary purpose of this event is designed to connect you to others in the community living with endometriosis.

Q. Ticket prices are really low! What does my ticket actually include?

A. Thanks to Genea Fertility we are able to offer tickets at a hugely subsidized rate. Tickets include: brunch (pastries, hot food, cold food and fruit), tea/coffee, mimosas and juice. Tickets also include goodie bags, a panel discussion, and the opportunity to chat with other young people who just get what it's like to go through what you have experienced.
