Lunchtime Learning - Introduction to BGCLS Services Online PD Session
Event description
As part of Law Week workers from community services across the Grampians region are invited to attend one of our free online lunchtime learning sessions to hear about the legal services that Ballarat & Grampians Community Legal can provide to individuals and the community.
Relevant to anyone in health, wellbeing, family, family violence, housing, council or other services that support the Ararat, Bacchus Marsh, Ballarat, Daylesford, Golden Plains, Hindmarsh, Horsham, Northern Grampians, Pyrenees, West Wimmera and Yarriambiack LGAs, each session will cover:
- What is a Community Legal Centre
- BGCLS Services & areas of law
- Warm referrals & secondary consults
While there will also be time for questions please note the session will be facilitated by our Project - Manager Health Justice Partnerships, who is not a lawyer. The information provided on the day will only be general in nature and relate to service provision.
If this date doesn't suit the session is also being offered on Wednesday 21st May and Thursday 22nd May.
