Join Melbourne Adventure Club for a relaxed Friday night in nature, starting with an easy social walk through the forest before heading back to Burkes Lookout to watch the sun go down over Melbourne.

We’ll meet at 4:45 pm, head off for a gentle walk and chat, then return to the lookout with plenty of time to settle in before sunset.

Bring a picnic blanket or camp chair, something small to eat or share, and something warm for later in the evening. I’ll provide a selection of non-alcoholic drinks, we’ll put some music on, enjoy the view and spend the evening chatting as the city lights begin to appear below us.

• Come alone — you’ll be very welcome

The official MAC event will finish at about 7:30 pm.

🍷 Optional afterwards:
For anyone who’d like to keep the night going, we’ll head to the Mount Dandenong Hotel afterwards for dinner and a drink.

No pressure to stay on — it’s simply there for anyone who feels like continuing the evening.

Friday night doesn’t always need to mean bars and clubs. Sometimes it can be trees, sunset and good people.
