FridayFocus | Communication in the workplace – Tips and Tricks

Event description

Join Us for Our Friday Focus Session: Communication in the workplace – Tips and Tricks

Our Friday Focus sessions are designed to provide an enriching opportunity to gain new knowledge and insights from your peers. This month, we're diving into the sometimes-divisive topic of Communication in the workplace.
Communication in the workplace is important because it boosts employee morale, engagement, productivity, and satisfaction. Communication is also key for better team collaboration and cooperation. Ultimately, effective workplace communication helps drive better results for individuals, teams, and organisations.

But what do we mean by communication?

In most engagement surveys, ‘poor communication’ ranks highly. But ask a dozen people how they define communication, and you are likely to get a dozen different answers.
Share and discover what other organisations are doing to clarify, simplify and validate their internal communication channels, and learn a few tips and tricks along the way. So, let's share with our Industry Partners Australia community and improve communication - across our network.
We want you to engage, learn, and connect with your industry peers in this focused 45-minute session.

We will kick off the discussion with:

  • What communication methods don’t work?
  • What communication methods work?

You will need:
A computer with video and audio capability so you can engage effectively with other attendees.
