Friends at Five Thirty

Join us for a fun, inspiring, and insightful evening at our first Friends at Five Thirty event for 2025! This special evening is designed to bring our community together and showcase the incredible talents and stories of people from within our Rangi Ruru whānau.

Event Schedule:

• 5:30 PM - 6:00 PM: Drinks and Canapés
  Enjoy a delightful half-hour of mingling with fellow guests while savouring delicious drinks and canapés.
• 6pm - 7pm: Speakers
  Each of our speakers will take the stage for around 15 minutes, followed by a panel Q&A. 

Speakers:

• Jane Mahoney - A proud Rangi Ruru Alumna, Jane Mahoney is a celebrated film producer and author who has collaborated with some of the most talented creatives in the advertising and film industries across New Zealand, Australia, and Asia. Her impressive career includes her latest project, Maurice and I, a captivating feature-length documentary that explores the power of storytelling and artistic expression.
  
• Jessica Close – Rangi Ruru Alumna, Jessica Close is an award-winning interior designer whose stunning work has earned international acclaim. Featured in prestigious publications such as The World of Interiors, House and Garden, The New York Times, and The Financial Times, Jessica is known for her visionary approach and ability to create timeless, inspiring spaces that resonate globally.
  
• Rewa Rendall – Rewa Rendall, Rangi Ruru Alumna and self-described "Photographic Alchemist," transforms landscapes into breathtaking visual narratives. Her work has taken her to the remote corners of Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and even the Antarctic Peninsula, where she captures the raw beauty of nature with a unique artistic lens, blending photography with storytelling.
