Friends of Aileu Strategy Planning Workshop

The Friends of Aileu Community Committee invites you to join other supporters of Friends of Aileu and interested community members for a planning workshop to help develop a refreshed Strategy Plan for Friends of Aileu for the coming 5 years and a new Friendship Agreement 2025-2030

You are welcome to register if you live, work, study, recreate or create in Merri-bek or Hume or have an interest in Aileu or Timor-Leste

The afternoon will open with a light lunch at 12pm.  The workshop will commence promptly at 12:30pm, with a short address by Jose Pires.

The agenda will include

• An environment scan of current and emerging issues for our Councils and communities, and for Aileu and Timor-Leste
• A review of the goals and strategies of the friendship, and
• Some priority setting for partnerships, communications, programs, projects and activities, both locally and in Aileu.

Michael Henry, Managing Director at The Strategy Shop, will guide this afternoon workshop. There will be multiple opportunities for your participation and input, which is the clear focus of the afternoon

This is a real chance for you to influence the future of the friendship relationship with Aileu, and I do hope you can join us.
