The Annual Friends Winter Solstice Soup Day is a much-beloved fundraiser for the Jacaranda Acquisitive Drawing Award (JADA). Â
By allowing this award to be the major focus of the gallery’s acquisition policy, the collection has attractively developed through the tastes, opinions, and approaches of the various judges into a collection that is compelling, thought-provoking, innovative, exuberant, and diverse.
Mark your diaries for the hottest ticket in town in Winter ~ and watch this space to find out more!
Discover more about the JADA via the Grafton Regional Gallery.
SUPPORTING THE 2024 JADA

2024 - Event Wrap Up:
THANK YOU to the incredible local producers, restaurants, hospitality venues and creatives joining us for this not-to-be-missed annual fundraising event in 2024.
All our Chefs, restaurateurs, cooks and hospitality staff gifted us with the generous donation of their time, produce and skills. The Clarence Valley has a thriving food culture with over 190+ eateries; ranging from award-winning, fine-dining, community volunteer kitchens, private catering, bistros, taverns, restaurants, pubs, takeaways, pop-ups, travelling carts, market stalls, cafes... and so many more!
You can continue to show your support to these fantastic local businesses long before or after any Friends events ~ by following guests and locate businesses websites and social media pages, tagging their soups and raffle prizes if you are sharing on your social media, and of course, by being a local & ongoing patron this winter! When you support small and local businesses, you can contribute to the health and happiness of your community and Friends.Â
The Friends of Grafton Gallery are proud to support and directly impact the local tourism, hospitality, business and produce economy as much as we can, and encourage all our Friends and guests to do so too in the change of seasons for the year ahead.Â
