    Event description

As a follow up to our guided River walks, Parklands invite interested community members to participate in a relatively easy working bee removing redundant fences to improve safety along the new River Red Gum trail. We will also remove a small number of woody weeds and in preparation for planting this winter.

Come and explore this newly accessible part of the Murray river and see how many platypus you can spot whilst contributing towards biodiversity conservation.

Where: Meet at the 'Stockies bridge' where the stock route crosses Wodonga Creek (take Wrights Road off the Lincoln causeway towards the Black Duck) (see image below)

What is provided: All tools, materials and personal protective equipment is provided as is Ranger induction and session leadership.

What to bring: Participants must wear covered shoes (boots) and long pants at all sessions, preferably long sleeves as well, and bring your own hat and water bottle. Current Covid safety measures must also be followed.
