🎃 FRIGHT NIGHT AT LITHGOW VALLEY CINEMA 🎬

Join us for a wonderfully spooky night of short films, live music and Halloween fun as the Lithgow Halloween Smartphone Film Competition takes over the quirky and much-loved Lithgow Valley Cinema on Friday 30 October.

This year’s competition has attracted films from more than 25 countries, and Fright Night is your chance to see the shortlisted entries where they belong — up on the big screen.

Every film has been created on a smartphone, runs for no more than 10 minutes and is G-rated, making this a genuinely family-friendly Halloween event. Kids are very welcome.

The evening includes live music from the Spice Ghouls, free refreshments, the screening of the finalist films, and the announcement of this year’s award winners.

Cash prizes will be presented for:

• Most Creative

• Best Performance

• Best Youth Film

• Best Local Film

• Best Local Youth Film

• People’s Choice

A prestigious guest judge will help select the winning films, with special prizes recognising the creativity and talent of filmmakers from the Lithgow area.

Best of all, Fright Night is completely FREE.

Come dressed for Halloween if you like, settle into one of Lithgow Valley Cinema’s wonderfully old-school seats, and enjoy an evening of strange, funny, clever and spooky films made by filmmakers from Lithgow and around the world.
