Park Life: Park to Park Ride – Saturday, April 5th

Join our wonderful biking community, get ready to cycle in style! Join us for a fabulous Frocks on Bike Ride on Saturday, April 5th, as we ride from park to park, celebrating the joy of cycling and community. Whether you're an experienced rider or a beginner, this inclusive event is all about fun, friendship, and fabulous outfits!

We’ll meet at Waitangi Park at 1pm (Please arrive half an hour earlier if hiring a bike from Switched on Bikes - Bike hire available for $10 see below), and cruise along this amazing route connecting the city to the sea enjoying the outdoors and sites of significance along the way all the while supporting businesses (pick up that last minute gift at the White Room, or some chocolate from Barron Hasselhoffs) and supporting  each other too. Don’t forget to wear your most fabulous frock or colorful attire to add some extra flair to the ride! 

Bring your bike, your friends, and your best vibe for an unforgettable day of connection and movement. Let’s ride and celebrate the strength of our community, one pedal at a time!

Bike Hire: 

Thanks to Switched on Bikes and Wellington City Council, you can rent a suitable bike for just $10 if you don't have access to one. Please book that separately here:

You can either leave the bike with us after the tour and make your own way home. If you're feeling extra enthusiastic and want to extend your ride on Sunday, you're welcome to hold onto the bike and return it before 5pm to Switched on Bikes, or return it by 10am the following day at no extra charge. Hold onto it for all of Sunday for only $45!
