Great Southern Bioblitz Frogging Adventure
Event description
The Great Southern Bioblitz is an annual event where people across the Southern Hemisphere come together to document the rich biodiversity of our regions using the iNaturalist platform. The event is held during the springtime, a period of vibrant natural activity, making it the perfect time to observe and record the species around us.
This outdoor nocturnal adventure will show you how to use the Frog ID app if you're a novice but even if you're a regular frog ID user you will still enjoy heading out along the Louise Clews Walkway in Brookwater. This frogging adventure will delight people young and old but you will need to byo a torch or head torch. Wear closed in shoes, long sleeved shirt & trousers to avoid mosquito bites or wear insect repellent.
Light refreshments will be served after the event, tea, coffee, hot chocolate & cookie.
