Event description
Celebrate FrogID Week AND the Australian Pollinator Count by learning about Bendigo's small and sensational wildlife!
Come along to:
- Discover the wonderful world of native bees and other pollinating insects and their important roles in our ecosystem.
- Learn about some of Bendigo's local frog species, their ecology, lifecycle, variety of calls and how to create frog-friendly habitat.
We will meet at the Platypus Compass before going on a short walk along the Campaspe River.
This is a free, family-friendly event and all are welcome.
Meeting point: Platypus Compass, Axedale. The meeting point is along the O'Keefe Rail Trail, halfway between McIvor Highway and 37 William Street, Axedale.
What to bring: Bring a hat and water. This is an outdoor event so wear weather-appropriate clothing and enclosed shoes.
