From Curiosity to Action: Getting Started with Entrepreneurship
Description
Got an idea? Curious about startups? Not sure where to begin?
Entrepreneurship isn’t just for business students or people with a fully formed startup idea.
It’s about spotting opportunities, solving problems, testing ideas and creating impact.
Join us for an interactive masterclass exploring what entrepreneurship really means and how students can get started.
Hear from Swinburne’s innovation and venture experts as they unpack common myths, share practical insights and introduce the support available for students with ideas, projects, research or interests they want to explore further.
Whether you have a business idea, capstone project, social impact concept, creative venture, or you’re simply curious about what’s possible, this session will help you understand where to start.
In this masterclass, you'll learn:
What entrepreneurship really is (and what it isn't)
How to identify opportunities worth exploring
Why you don't need funding, experience, or a perfect idea to get started
How successful ventures start with problem-solving
The pathways available through Swinburne Innovation Studio
How programs like Initiate, Venture Cup Wildcards, and Student Ventures can help you develop your ideas and take action.
