From Drew's Land, With Love

From Drew’s Land, With Love is a three-day cultural festival in Kingston, Jamaica, in the Drew's Land neighbourhood created in collaboration with community leader Kenrick Morris.

Held at Drews Avenue Primary and Infant School, this festival invites guests into the rhythm and everyday life of Drews Land. With music, movement, home-cooked meals, and real conversations, the space is transformed by the people who live here, and opened with love to those who visit.

Each day brings something new — come for one day or stay for all three.

Festival Hours:
🗓 Friday, August 29 — 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
🗓 Saturday, August 30 — 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
🗓 Sunday, August 31 — 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Daily Themes & Highlights

🟢 Friday: Dance

• Learn Kingston’s latest dance moves from local youth

• Join the energy — open participation encouraged

• Street games and music all day

• Meals served by community volunteers

🟡 Saturday: Games

• Traditional Jamaican games: Dandy Shandy, marbles, rope skipping

• Domino competitions and friendly match-ups

• Ongoing music and food

• Fun for all ages — no sign-up needed

🔴 Sunday: Talent Show & Awards

• Talent show for anyone to enjoy

• Community judging and audience applause

• Closing ceremony and small awards

• Shared meal and wind-down music

• Final day of connection and reflection
