From Evidence to Impact: The Role of Implementation Science

Join Professor Byron Powell to explore how implementation science can help translate evidence into improvements in health and social care.

Professor Byron is Associate Dean for Research at the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis, USA. An internationally recognised implementation scientist, his research has helped shape widely used approaches to developing, tailoring, and evaluating how to embed evidence into practice, address barriers to change, and support lasting improvements in health and social services. He has published more than 200 scholarly works and is a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher.

We invite you to join us for light refreshments from 1pm. The public talk will commence at 1:30pm, followed by a Question & Answer session.
