Event description

Use your gaming skills to lift your real-world collaboration game...

Greetings Gamer! 🎲👋🏼

Do you know that your time as a gamer has equipped you with valuable skills needed in real-world endeavours?

When you’re running your D&D table, planning your next MMO raid, or moderating a fan group, you’re using skills that parallel those of professional managers, facilitators, and project leaders. It’s all about bringing people together around shared goals.

Amble Studio’s new workshop will help you translate these skills to other parts of your life. Whether it’s improving “soft skills”, working in collaborative teams, starting a community project, or building confidence to advance your career, we can help you make a change in your world.

Together we will:

  • Learn about the common features that enable good collaboration
  • How to Create, Equip, and Maintain a collaborative party to deliver real world outcomes
  • Explore how many of these collaboration capabilities already exist within the
gaming sphere and how you can introduce them to real world contexts
  • Equip ourselves with some specific practices and processes that will help us
    along the way
  • Collate a list of future resources for the type of collaborative practitioner class
you want to explore going forward

All it takes is an email to sign up, free of charge.

    Your facilitator:
Jason is a facilitation and collaboration design professional, and a proud member of the Amble Studio troupe.

Jason has spent the last decade practicing his collaboration skills as a member of PwC's the Difference capability, where he worked across Government, Industry and Not for Profit sectors to enable leaders to tackle some of their most complex organisational challenges.

A lifelong tabletop gamer, Jason can be found slinging spells on the Magic the Gathering battlefield, rolling polyhedrals for his half-orc barbarian, or co-creating narrative with team Amble through a broad variety of indie TTRPG titles - more recently getting to enjoy the strange existential crisis of a duck named Jon.
