From Grief to Growth workshop
Event description
'From Grief to Growth' community workshop is designed for adults who are navigating the path of grief and loss. Ideally those attending should be 3 months or more post-loss.
The workshop will discuss the nature and impacts of grief and loss along with strategies for coping, understanding the complex emotions and feelings associated with loss and how we might grow our lives around our grief.
The program will offer a safe, supportive, non-judgmental, warm and welcoming environment with content presented by Certified Grief Educator, Prue Arnot and Mental Health GP, Dr. Nerrelie Cann. The day will also be supported by Mental Health staff and peer supporters who have walked their own journey or grief.
While grief is often misunderstood or silenced in our community, this workshop aims to bridge that gap by transforming grief into a path of healing, resilience, hope and renewed purpose. Through understanding, awareness, connection with others, our hope is that you will leave feeling more confident for the days ahead.
