The Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is proud to present the 2025 Research Showcase, a two-day celebration of research, innovation, and collaboration in health proudly presented in partnership with the University of Sydney, Sydney Health Partners, Western Sydney University, and The University of Notre Dame.
This year’s theme, From Little Things, Big Things Grow, reflects our commitment to fostering a culture of curiosity and continuous improvement — from the seed of an idea to system-wide transformation.
Day 1: Friday 17 October, Nepean Clinical School, 62 Derby Street, Kingswood.
Registration opens 8:30am for a 9am start!
Hosted in collaboration with our valued partners at Sydney Health Partners, the first day will feature:
A morning Implementation Science Workshop led by Sydney Health Partners, offering a practical opportunity to translate ideas into impactful change focusing on developing key improvement opportunities across NBMLHD
A keynote address by Dr Nhi Nguyen, NBMLHD Board Member and ICU physician, who will share insights from the frontline of clinical research and value-based care
An afternoon of research presentations
Day 2: Friday 14 November, Building D Lecture Theatre, Nepean Hospital
