Event description

From the occupied West Bank to the besieged Gaza

The Palestinian struggle for liberation continues - from colonisation and ethnic cleansing to genocide

  • What has the Palestinian reality been in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem after October the 7th 2023?
  • How is the genocide in Gaza impacting the Palestinian public opinion in the occupied West Bank towards the Palestinian Authority?
  • How is the regional geopolitics in the Middle East informing the Palestinian Authority’s policies in the occupied West Bank?
  • What are the prospects of the total annexation of the West Bank by state of Israel under the current American administration?
  • How has been the media coverage of the genocide in Gaza in the Western world?
  • What are the political horizons for Palestine? And what is required from the global Palestine solidarity movements right now?
  • What effective measures can civil society and policy makers take to stop the genocide and promote Palestinian rights?

To answer all these questions and more, please join us in this in-depth discussion with Mariam Barghouti

Mariam Barghouti is a Palestinian journalist, writer and researcher based in Occupied Palestine. She earned a BA in English Language and Literature from Birzeit University, and an MSc in Sociology and Global Change from the University of Edinburgh.
