From Vine to Wine. Producers vineyard tour, wine tasting & matched food

From 'Vine to Wine' is a special event hosted by Nashdale Lane's winemakers & owners, taking small groups of guests on a exclusive behind the scene tour of Nashdale Lane's high altitude vineyard while enjoying an extensive, guided wine tasting and food pairing experience.  Guests will enjoy a relaxed walking & talking vineyard tour & wine tasting showcasing a broad selection of flagship varieties showcasing aromatics (Riesling + Pinot Gris) + oaked white wines (Fumé Sauvignon Blanc + Chardonnay) as well as a variety of light reds from Rosé + Pinot Noir to fuller bodied red wines like Tempranillo & Shiraz. The tour and wine tasting will finish with a casual, picnic-style box of delicious snacks, designed to enhance the wine tasting experience.  What can you expect to learn?

A little more about the lifecycle of wine - from the beginning, growing the grapes on the vineyard, midlife - discussing winemaking styles and techniques and then the last step -  into the bottle and your glass. Event group numbers will be kept small & intimate and the hosts encourage questions & interaction along the way –suited to wine lovers and those seeking a relaxed but fun & informative experience. Guests will be offered an exclusive discounted offer on wines on the day should you wish to purchase wine to take away.

Ticket price $70 pp (+ booking fee) includes: 90 mins. vineyard tour + extended wine tasting in the vines + local nibbles paired with wines (suitable as a light lunch). The wine tasting is conducted during the tour and among the vines. Food will be served on the cellar door lawn.  Gluten free can be catered for upon request (notice must be given at the time of booking).
