    Event description

Ever wonder what actually happens to your plastic waste? Worried that all the sorting and saving of single use plastic lids, bags and bread tags are for nothing.

Well come along to our recycling education online session to learn how one family owned social enterprise is turning single use plastic lids into brand new practical products.

In this session Adam Adam Slater, Founder of Zero Plastics Australia, will explain their journey from scientist to recycler, from a heart attack to a friendly meeting with a turtle, covering how they started this precious plastic movement to how they have saved over 2 million + single use plastic lids and educated over 5000 students.

Hear how we can all make a difference from by the choices we take,

See the wonder that is recycling.

Then with a live demonstration from the workshop of ZPA, Adam will show you the process of turning waste into wonder. This interactive education session encourages you to ask the questions you have about this with a live Q&A.
