Whether you’ve never touched DJ gear, you’re a late-in-life music lover flirting with the idea of DJing, a long-lost DJ looking to rekindle your spark, or you’re simply craving a re-fresh, this workshop is your fast, fun, and practical gateway back into the art of DJing.
Led by Adam Bozzetto, an acclaimed DJ, producer, and educator with over 20 years of experience performing at festivals and venues across the globe – this immersive workshop breaks down the essentials of modern DJing using industry-standard equipment and software.
What you’ll learn:
How to understand and navigate DJ gear (decks, mixer, software)
The basics of beatmatching and syncing tracks
How to use EQ, filters, and effects to shape your mix
How to cue, loop, and transition smoothly between tracks
How to read a crowd and build a set with confidence
About Adam:
Adam Bozzetto is a renowned Australian DJ, producer, and educator with over 20 years in the music industry. Based in Sydney, Adam has performed on some of the world’s biggest stages, from main sets at Splendour in the Grass and Field Day to intimate club gigs in New York, London, and Asia, as well as unforgettable sets at Burning Man. Known for his versatility and deep musical knowledge, he has shared the stage with global icons like Mark Ronson, Steve Aoki, The Presets, and RÜFÜS DU SOL.
Adam’s DJ sets blend electronic energy with live elements, often under his solo projects Boz and For Life. His work has received widespread acclaim, with original material featured on Triple J and FBi Radio, and releases on labels such as Universal Music, Island Records, DIM MAK, and Fool’s Gold.
A passionate mentor and educator, Adam teaches music production and composition at TAFE and serves as Creative Lead at Heaps Decent, a nonprofit he co-founded with Diplo, which empowers young people through music. Whether performing at top venues or working in remote communities, Adam brings the same commitment to creativity, culture, and connection through music.

Experience required:
18 + workshop. No prior DJ experience necessary – just bring your love of music and be ready to jump in. All gear will be provided.
