Audio Visual Soundscapes with Frontiers in Photography and Baran Yildiz.

Spend your Sunday afternoon enjoying a drink or some tea and cake, surrounded by beautiful, ambient sounds and live improvised nature inspired video projections with Frontiers in Photography and Baran Yildiz.

Frontiers in Photography are Scott Gillespie and Jax Wechsler. Scott is a multi-instrumentalist musician who loops keys, vox and guitars through his 40kg effects pedal board. Jax is a VJ/video artist who has been playing video visuals for DJs and bands for over a decade.

Baran Yildiz is a Sydney based multi-instrumentalist from Turkey. His music combines melodies and rhythms of the Middle East and Africa with a modern touch on the hand pan, piano and various percussion instruments. Originally trained in classical piano and jazz drums he gradually became a world music percussionist and composer.

Since 2010 he has performed at international festivals around the world, accompanying globally acknowledged musicians on percussion. His first album ‘Interbeing’, released in September 2019, blends various modern world and neo-classical music elements and presents enchanting instrumental soundscapes.

Jax will be providing video content for Baran as well : )
