Frozen Charlotte is an award winning Scottish theatre company that makes work for and with children and young people.
Based in Moray in the North East of Scotland, we are passionate about making our work as accessible as possible to Scottish communities, particularly with children and young people who have fewer opportunities to engage with the performing arts.
Frozen Charlotte has had incredible support from the community of theatre folk that have earned Scotland its reputation for world-class young people’s theatre. We strive to do our bit to expand the boundary-defying energy and brilliance of this creative community.
Frozen Charlotte has had the privilege of enabling many artists to work on their first professional productions. These artists have gone on to great heights and we reap the reward of regularly collaborating with them. We continue to seek out and give opportunities to the rising stars of tomorrow.
Frozen Charlotte has been inspired by countless young folk in the diverse communities we’ve worked in. We reach out and share ideas through fun and exploratory workshops and residencies.
We have formed strong international partnerships and have toured our shows to the far flung corners of the world. We are embarking on a new phase of work that will focus on sustainable touring that continues to be entertaining, moving and funny whilst treading lightly on the planet.
