  • A minimum upfront payment is required to secure your order. This includes a surcharge, a non-refundable cancellation fee, and a refundable deposit.

Event description

Come and learn how to prune fruit trees with Lisa and Costa*, ahead of winter pruning season.

Winter is considered the best time to prune many fruit tree varieties while they are dormant, making it easier to access their structure and shape, and encouraging vigorous growth in the Spring.

Bring your secateurs if you have them, take home tips and tricks to look after fruit trees!

This event is hosted by Horsham Urban Landcare and The Patch Community Garden with support from Victorian Landcare Grants. Tea and snacks provided.

Tickets are free for Horsham Urban Landcare and The Patch members, $10 for non-members. To purchase membership of Horsham Urban Landcare follow this link: www.trybooking.com/CTXJG. To become a member of The Patch, contact Jen at facilitator@hdln.org.au for more info - there are raised and wicking beds available for rent ranging from $15-30 per year.
