Fruiting bodies presents: Rubie, mango mango mango, Gals Against Lawnmowers

Fruiting bodies presents a genre-bending night of only the finest queer artists, all conveniently pre-packaged and available at mesh!

Rubie is a songstress, producer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Glasgow. Her highly theatrical live shows blend high-drama balladry, polymetric twitch-pop, and transcendent plainsong, with sprawling songwriting referencing post-apocalyptic t4t love, demonic catgirls, and spiritual experiences in north London retail parks.

Mango mango mango produces music previously described as "somewhere between indie rock and EDM". Their music tends to focus on the range of queer experiences in the UK, using overblown synths, distorted guitars and crunchy drum samples to create a mildly oppressive but surprisingly danceable experience.

Gals Against Lawnmowers make loud noises in the name of rewilding. A sprinkling of mushroom pow(d)er and a comically large spoonful of degeneracy.
