This interactive 90-minute session, led by Conrad Goodhew, Accredited Sports Dietitian, is structured to provide an engaging, hands-on experience. With over seven years of experience working with elite athletes and weekend warriors alike – including the Crusaders, Canterbury Cricket, and numerous endurance athletes in his private practice – Conrad brings practical expertise that’s both science-backed and tailored to real-world demands. Having completed some of New Zealand’s toughest endurance events, including the Coast to Coast Longest Day, Conrad knows firsthand the importance of optimal nutrition for endurance performance.

  • Part 1: Training Nutrition Seminar: A 45-minute interactive session focused on building your nutrition foundation, covering essential principles like daily energy needs, plate models, fuelling for various training intensities, and optimising recovery.
  • Part 2: Race Day Strategy Workshop: Collaborate in small groups based on event type – whether a marathon, multi-sport, Ironman, triathlon, or other endurance race. Conrad will guide each group through developing a personalised race-day nutrition plan, with plenty of time for questions and individualised advice.
