This FREE interactive workshop is designed to help local community organisations, clubs, and volunteer-involving groups unlock new funding opportunities and become ‘grant ready’.

Learn practical strategies to:

✅ Tackle common fundraising challenges
✅ Think creatively about support and resources

Workshop Format:
🕐 1 Hour Presentation - practical, interactive learning with real-life examples
🗣 followed by One-on-One Support & Networking - tailored advice for your organisation

Facilitated by two highly experienced facilitators: Kelly Howlett AM JP and Patrycja Rosinska, who bring decades of expertise in leading organisations, securing funding, managing partnerships, and delivering high-impact programs, services, and events across regional WA and beyond. This session is packed with insight, inspiration, and practical takeaways.

📩 All attendees will receive electronic resources, templates, and grant-writing tools after the event.

The Act Local is a new Active Citizenship Building Program designed for individual Active Citizens and Volunteer Involving Organisations (VIOs) and offers a range of comprehensive resources, networking and training opportunities. Program aims to:

  • support community organisations in attracting and retaining volunteers,

  • create exciting capacity building and volunteering opportunities and

  • promote and celebrate active citizenship to build more connected, empowered and thriving regional communities.
