Funding Intergenerational Fairness

Event description

Now more than ever, we need leaders in government to adopt long-term thinking and long-term solutions. Climate change, rising economic inequality, digital threats to privacy and information, as well as global health risks, are all serious and complex challenges that outlast any election cycle. In a political atmosphere crying out for future-conscious decision-making, organisations like Think Forward and Foundations for Tomorrow are putting the interests of younger and future generations on the table.

Mannifera and the Foundation for Young Australians invite funders to hear about the joint advocacy of Think Forward and Foundations for Tomorrow, in pursuit of a democracy and economy that focuses on the wellbeing of future generations and the planet.

Join us for a panel discussion featuring Sonia Arakkal, Co-Founder of Think Forward; Taylor Hawkins, Co-Founder of Foundations for Tomorrow; and Kate Chaney, Federal Member for Curtin; in conversation with Lee Carnie, Executive Director of Advocacy at the Foundation for Young Australians. They’ll discuss the issues that matter most to younger generations, and their current work getting these issues in front of parliamentary decision-makers.

Presented by Mannifera and Foundation for Young Australians
