Gala Dinner for Cancer Council – An Evening of Hope & Celebration

Join us for a night to remember – a spectacular Gala Dinner dedicated to raising funds for Cancer Council!

To support my fundraising efforts, I am hosting a Gala Dinner for Cancer Council – An Evening of Hope & Celebration.

This special evening brings together community, compassion, and entertainment in support of those affected by cancer. Whether you’ve been personally impacted or simply want to be part of something meaningful, your presence will help make a difference.

Funds raised will go towards Cancer Council’s programs and services in the Illawarra region, supporting cancer patients and their families. It is through events like Stars of Wollongong that we can continue to provide the community with practical cancer support services including accommodation at the Wollongong Cancer Care Centre and transport to treatment, cancer prevention programs, local advocacy, 13 11 20 helpline and offer access to free financial, legal and emotional support.

I'm excited to share that I’ve been accepted to participate in the 2025 Stars of Wollongong Dance for Cancer! This incredible fundraising event will take place on Saturday, 31st May 2025 at WIN Entertainment Centre. Over the next three months, I am committed to raising funds to support those undergoing cancer treatment. In addition to fundraising, I’ll be training with a professional dance teacher, learning a choreographed routine to perform in front of 700 people on 31st May! This event is one of the largest fundraisers in our region, and I’m honoured to take on this challenge.

In support of my fundraising efforts, I’ve decided to host this Gala Dinner. Your attendance will be a huge contribution to this important cause, helping to ensure that Cancer Council can continue providing vital support to our community.
