Fundraising in the Arts Workshop
Thursday 3 April, 1pm – 5pm
Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre
Followed by an industry meetup, with drinks and light refreshments.
Aimed at arts managers, administrators and board members with any level of fundraising experience.
In partnership with Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre.
The Fundraising in the Arts workshop is ideal for arts and cultural organisations wanting to understand the principles of arts fundraising, philanthropy and sponsorship, as a way to deepen engagement with their community and diversify income for the organisation.
The workshop will cover:
- Fundraising readiness, including staff and board engagement
- Philanthropy: individual donors and trusts & foundations
- Business partnerships
- Building a case for support
- Potential fundraising strategies
- Managing supporter relationships
- Developing a fundraising plan
Facilitated by Michelle Boyle, State Manager Development and Partnerships (NSW/ACT) at Creative Australia.
