    Join mushroom hunters and wild food educators Chanterelle foggin from The Foragers Plate and Martin Martini from Belly of the world Mushrooms for a hands on in the forest walk with the mushrooms. Fungi  Flaneur = "stroller", "lounger", "saunterer", or "loafer"

    An educational foray on the the magical world of edible fungi. Learn to walk the talk from  mush whispers, learn to “look around”as Martini would say. Eyes to the ground mouth open making talking sounds about the mush and their mysterious ways. 

    Spots are limited for this very special first Time collaboration with Chanterelle and her reluctant mentor and crazy mush man Martin Martini. Come along and we will walk as fast as Leppard slugs on Sunday the 21st January 2024 location to be advised closer to the date, it will be within 15 mins of Coolangatta airport.

    Martin Martini - Belly of the World Mushrooms 

    Martin Martini is a professional forager, a mushroom hunter , fungi educator, an artist and a showman. Martin lives in the belly of the world, looking around and following his nose to some of the most sort after of edible wild mushrooms in the world. Whether he’s guest speaking about fungi or suppling Australia’s best restaurants wth gourmet wild edibles or meandering with folks in the forest or hosting workshops or selling his “logs” this enigmatic knowledgeable and experienced mushroom forager will entertain you.


    Chanterelle Foggin, I am a forager. An edible weeds advocate. Mushroom hunter, wild food educator. Cook and food writer . My wild food journey has taken me into the hills and valleys of my nnsw home and through shared knowledge, study and experience I find myself in a place where I eat wild foods and educate others about the wild, sustainable, convenient  superfoods that  we have growing all around us. I find myself in the long grass, casting shadows in paddocks, bent down in creek beds all for the promise of the joy of the wild food hunt. It’s the wandering spirit, the foraging spirit that is innate, intrinsic and available to all of us.  I fill my baskets with seaweeds, fungi, plants, flowers, berries and edible weeds and create magical meals and wild flavours. Working with fine dining restaurants and award winning chefs to create unique wild food events and having created Forage and Grow NSW page on Facebook as a platform to share her creative food adventures, foster safe learning and connect people through shared knowledge.

    Often at times a cheeky unrepentant urban forager, always entertaining this girl's gone wild adventure will set you and your family  out inspired into your own backyards, nature strips and parks and beaches  looking for a bit of the passion Chanterelle shares. Whether you join her for a bougie country lunch, at her charming cottage or join her on a foraging adventure around Australia tummys and hearts will be full.
