Join Us for a Furniture Assembly Working Bee and Lunch Dana at Newbury Buddhist Monastery
CITYZEN and the BSV committee warmly invite you to Newbury Buddhist Monastery on Saturday, October 26th, from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. Help assemble furniture for NBM's Meditation Retreat Centre, creating a sanctuary that will benefit countless retreatants on their spiritual journey.
We'll begin at 9:30 am, splitting into teams to assemble IKEA furniture. Please bring a dish or dessert to share for Dana, and let us know the number of people you'll be catering for. The day will also include a blessing ceremony, pindapāta, and the offering of lunch Dana to the monastics, followed by a communal meal at 11:00 am. If you have a drill set, feel free to bring it along.
Carpools will be arranged for those without transport. Please register via this form.
