Furoshiki Workshop with Nami Osaki
Event description
Some of us love gift-wrapping and some of us don't, but gift wrapping doesn't need to create waste that can be avoided!
There are sustainable ways to celebrate the holidays and this year, we are welcoming Nami Osaki back to our community to show us how to avoid the gift wrap and reuse beautiful fabric to wrap our gifts using the Japanese art of Furoshiki.
This workshop is a free event and will run for 1.5 hours, located at the Piara Waters Library.
Attendees will need to supply the following:
2 x empty wine bottles
2 x regular sized rectangular tissue boxes
Be quick, Nami's workshops are very popular and limited to 20 people.
We look forward to seeing you there!
