Fusion Pride Picnic Volunteer Sign Ups

Hello everyone!

Our 3rd annual Pride Picnic is just around the corner. Once again, this will be a free, family-friendly event for our local LGBTQIA+ community with live music, crafts, picnic spaces, resources, local Pride goods and accessories for sale.

Fusion Pride Picnic

Date: Sunday, 9 February 2025

Time: 10:00am - 3:00pm

Location: North Steyne Reserve, Manly Beach (the grass parallel to the Beach)

In order to make this day a success, we need assistance from our community. We are looking to fill our volunteer spaces to help make the day run smoothly and be a blast for all of those who join in the fun!

Please see below for the roles we need fulfilled on Sunday, February 9. If you are available and willing to lend us your assistance with any of these roles please reply to this email to confirm and I will be in further contact closer to the event with more information. 

• Set Up Team x 4

8:30am - 10:30am (Physical tasks include unloading/setting up tables, stage, tents, banners, bean

bags, clearing rubbish)

• Welcome Table x 2

11:30am - 1:30pm (Welcoming and directing attendees, handing out rainbow stickers, assisting in

fundraising, sales of t-shirts, stickers, wrist bands and show bags)

• Welcome Table x 2

1:30pm - 3:30pm (Welcoming and directing attendees, handing out rainbow stickers, assisting in

fundraising, sales of t-shirts, stickers, wrist bands and show bags)

• Floaters x 2

9:30am - 12:30pm (Assist with Welcome table tasks, multitasker for needs that arise, friendly and

helpful resource)

• Floaters x 2

12:30pm - 3:30pm (Assist with Welcome table tasks, multitasker for needs that arise, friendly and

helpful resource)

• Pack Down Team x 4

2:00pm - 4:00pm (Physical tasks will include dismantling stage, tables, tents, banners, bean bags,

clearing rubbish)
