Event description

FUTUNA LECTURE SERIES 2025

The Futuna Lecture Series commenced in 2011 and has been one of the main annual events on the NZ Architectural calendar for the last 14 years. It is the Futuna Chapel Trust’s major fundraiser each year and attracts a large audience of architects, architectural designers, technicians, architecture and design students and interested members of the public. The Trust exists solely on koha/donations as well as financial support from selected sponsors and donors.

Our sponsors, Dulux NZ, APL, Plytech Panels, Big River Panels, Warren Trust and the Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington NZIA branches are generously continuing their support of the Futuna Lecture Series 2025.

The Trust takes this opportunity to thank Metalcraft Roofing for their support from 2012 - 2024.

This year the Trust welcomes three new sponsors being Roofing Industries Limited, AGP and Big River Panels. The additional support of these new sponsors is very much appreciated and ensures that the Futuna Chapel Trust can continue to attract speakers to NZ of a similar calibre to that of the 2025 Futuna Lecture, Francis Kéré.

The Trust looks forward to welcoming architects, designers, graduates, students and interested members of the public to attend this event and support the Trust in its work and well as that of the Kéré Foundation.

The Trust will donate 20% of the ticket income to the Kéré Foundation to support the work of Francis Kéré in Gando, Burkina Faso.

The Futuna Trust is a charitable organisation and all funds raised from the Futuna Lecture Series go towards the ongoing care, maintenance and operation of Futuna Chapel and also to support various initiatives undertaken by the Trust.  Please register using the ticket types of $10, $15, $25 or $30 GST inclusive.  Booking fees are in addition to the ticket prices.

BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL TO ATTEND THIS EVENT

There will be 15 Design CPD points available for NZ registered architects attending the event. Please include your NZRAB registration number when purchasing Architect Tickets
