It was a decade ago that Future Brisbane first led the debate about the benefits of hosting the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and the catalytic change they could deliver for Queensland.
The 2032 Games now sit as the centrepiece of Brisbane’s ambition to become a true global city, but the opportunities ahead stretch well beyond a world-class sporting event.
This year’s Future Brisbane series will look to 2036 to uncover ‘Our Defining Decade’ - the big ideas and major projects that will deliver positive impact, the opportunities we still need to consider and the challenges we can overcome with bold action.
