Future Dreaming: Floor Talk with Artist

Hear directly from a First Nations artist with lived experience of incarceration at The Torch’s Floor Talk at 11am on Saturday 14 November.

This program will feature a tour of The Torch’s exhibition Future Dreaming (24 October – 22 November 2026) followed by a talk led by an artist alongside Susannah Day. 

About Future Dreaming

The Torch proudly presents Future Dreaming, an exhibition featuring works by First Nations artists incarcerated in 2026.

Each artwork explores the artist’s vision for the future, ranging from personal, spiritual and relational futures to the future of political, social and environmental systems.

Created within the walls of fifteen prisons across Victoria, the artworks in Future Dreaming are a powerful act of strength, resilience, and determination.
