Event description

Come join a tour and talk at theĀ Sunswift showroom, a lab at UNSW that is redefining the future of sustainable transport through the research and development of world class prototype electric cars.

Sunswift has established a world-class reputation, winning trophies and breaking Guinness World Records, the latest being ā€˜The Worlds Fastest EV to cover 1000km on a single chargeā€™.

Hear from their lead Professor Richard Hopkins on the future of mobility and the new technologies theyā€™re using to build a road legal car using solar, battery and hydrogen. Richard is the former Head of Operations for the Red Bull Racing Formula One Team and joined UNSW Engineering mentoring the student-led Sunswift solar car.Ā

The location of the showroom is at UNSW near the Roundhouse. It is a 20m walk to the closest light rail station.
