The Future of Food
Event description
Presented by Gnositukoi, and Hosted at Yugo Uni Square. We're bringing food systems education and innovation where it's needed most. To the people that feel the issues the most. You. The Students of Melbourne.
You are invited to; The Future of Food Workshop. An evening of good food and good company, you'll be surrounded by a community of likeminded student change makers based in sustainability, agrifood, and tech.
We're here to give you an exclusive look into the problems of our current food system, the exciting opportunities for the future, and a hands on insight into Gnositukoi; our startup that we've been working on for the past year to address these issues of the present, by using the technology of tomorrow.
🌱 There is no amount of food you can eat today, that would allow you to call yourself healthy...
Fresh, nutritious, and affordable food is unreachable for many in Melbourne's urban spaces, where long miles, soil degradation, and corporate profits sustain a system that negatively influences two very important aspects; YOUR HEALTH, & THE PLANETS HEALTH.
Join Us for an Interactive Workshop:
🔍 Discover the challenges of the global food system that you don't see, and why change is urgent.
🍅 How you can contribute to changing the industrialised food system.
🚀 An exclusive reveal of the technology our startup has been working on for the past year; our response to pioneering a solution for sustainable, affordable, and space saving technology that promotes in situ personal farming.
📅 When: Friday, 20th December
📍 Where: Yugo University Square, Carlton, VIC 3053
