Decarbonising and Electrifying our Economy
Event description
South Australia is global leader in renewable energy, however mobility and transportation are ongoing concerns. South Australia contributed 4.5% to Australia’s total net greenhouse gas emissions (2019),with mobility currently South Australia’s highest emitting sector. Many are looking to technology and electric transportation options as part of the solution, however, brings with it a whole new set of challenges.
In a uniquely interactive event, experts from multiple disciplines and audience members alike will discuss the broader implications of electrifying and decarbonising transport as we consider the inherent hurdles in the electricity grid and its integration.
Joining the expert panel will be Ben Haddock (Arup), Rob Morris (IO Energy) and Kerry Bowles (RAA).
